New horn updated!

If anyone wants to test this as an attempt to revert to the old horn, I would be curious to know exactly what does or doesn't happen:

I checked my vehicle option codes on https://tesla-info.com/tesla-option-codes.php and I have CTH0 still (I haven't switched over to the new horn yet), so one could deduce that CTH0 is the original horn and CTH1 is the superhorn.

Of course its entirely up to Tesla to actually do the programming to make that url work for CTH0 as well, but this would be a fun way to test that.

I personally don't want to commit yet to the new horn if there's no way back but I would love it if someone with the new horn could try it out. Of course it's at your own risk.

Well they seem to have pushed an update and now i have the new horn. Previously I had no horn whatsoever.

Thanks! I tried this, and got a "Update Successful" - but still no horn. We will see what happens over night. You might want to change this response so it doesn't show your VIN and RN. Not sure if others can accidently reset things for you. Very much appreciated!

Ho, ho, ho! I couldn’t agree more—it’s been quite the ride. What amazes me is how, for months, this forum was buzzing with “I want the horn!” Then, like magic, Tesla delivers, and suddenly the chatter shifts to “Can I go back?”… DOINK!

Honestly, I’m a bit embarrassed. I just hope the Tesla engineers don’t start thinking we’re all a bunch of Cyberwhiners and decide to throw in the towel. “Well, there’s no pleasing those folks!”

Talked to local service. They sent me an update and it fixed the horn! I also can access my free spotify now without needing premium. Along with some other mirror settings and a few other updates.

Yes service pushed it and it fixed it. . I got foldable mirrors with left scroll wheel, and free Spotify can now connect on truck too

I got it to work by clearing my browser history, closing and reopening the Tesla and browser apps and retrying to upgrade - and that made it work

Recently bought my CT and it came with the new horn. It's not very loud. I like it, but I'm used to absolutely scaring the shit out of someone who I'm needing to alert on the road. Was the old horn quiet as well?
