best way to describe it is expect it to be non-zero BUT Cybertruck’s active noise cancelling negates most recurring sounds so it’s there but a lot less noticeable with ANC than it would have been a few months ago.
lol the ANC does nothing. I love our trucks but let’s not get delusional

Not true, but you do you.

I did a test on the highway with one of my sons. We had ANC on, but were also skeptical. So we opened the passenger's side window 3-4 inches as we were rolling down the highway and sure enough it got quite noisy as you'd expect with one window open.

Then it got a little quieter.

Then even more quiet.

And then you couldn't hear any of the air whipping into the cabin.

It was crazy. Neither of us could believe it. Easily replicable test.

Yes, it looks a lot nicer than some of the other ones from the other Chinese manufacturers. Looks a lot slimmer and the light output if believable is the same or better.

The beauty is Amazon’s return policy.
Where do you think this one is made....

Clearly, they’re all made in China. You should re - read my post. That’s not the point either way. As we all know, Some are made better than others. Where do you think the Tesla OEM one is made that cost $2000 to purchase & install Captain Obvious?

I’ll test those steps. I turned the ANC, calibrated etc but never tried with windows open.

I have a lot of seat time very quickly and have never noticed from than maybe placebo, 16k miles in 6 months.

they can't crank ANC too hard, since some people are far more sensitive to it than others. it adds auditory fatigue quite quickly if too strong.

I’m sorry but my ANC does nothing and you can’t convince me otherwise. Same goes for our X.

I don't need to convince you, because I know it works just fine. perhaps your hearing sucks.

If you’re on the fence like I am about which light bar to get at this point here is an option from rough country. That looks like a good one.

Total lumens is over 24,000 apparently which I don’t believe these numbers so I take 80% of them. Even at 80% it’s way brighter than the Tesla OEM light bar.

Also, the low profile construction of this one is very appealing and no drilling holes into the sheet metal like there’s required with the OEM bar.

Obviously, you lose control via the factory UI other than just the on-off features.

But for the price and the fact that it’s shipped and sold by Amazon and you can buy a three-year warranty for roughly $40 makes this pretty attractive option.

It’s the same as the one from Hannshow.

I think all the Chinese OEM source from the same factory.
Yeah, ONE Chinese company makes something and a bunch of other companies will tweak it JUST SO to call it their own-but we all can see it’s really just the same Chinese crap-usually! HOWEVER, there are some quality Chinese factories out there….far and few!

Yes, this is called. White label merchandise. Where the American retailers buy from the same Chinese manufacturer slapped their marketing on it and determine the price.

Tesla probably does the same thing. They just have a trademark design that others are probably not allowed to encroach on.
