Why does 2021 ModelY with PDC sensors still allow the tailgate to open and hit the wall when parked close..?

Why does the ModelX still have a retractable spoiler which is always open..? (someone goofed and the CHMSL is hidden when closed, so just leave it open…)

Why do the Radar/Vision based cars still not have the new “better” HighFidelity visualization and detection when parking also…?

….this does not make me confident that Tesla has interest in continual improvement as much as they preach...

Yeah, I think I'm just continually disappointed in the CT, and honestly in Tesla writ large lately. Not a tantrum. Just my opinion. I'm in Vegas, no way I'm giving up my cabin overheat in my Model S for a CT that doesn't have one in hopes that one day they'll enable a feature the rest of their cars roll out of the factory with.

Valid points. I'm very seriously considering an R1T. I'll be curious to see the rollout of the R2S as well. I only buy OEMs from private parties. I loathe dealerships. My wife was pushing for me to get a gas powered truck, but other than rentals for work trips, I've been EV only for way too long to go back.

There is dog mode. This is a pretty loved feature on Tesla's, not sure they would get rid of it.

Yes, there's Dog Mode. See my screenshot earlier in the thread. And Camp Mode. Just no Cabin Overheat Protection.

Interesting ... In Home Assistant I cannot see COP, however it shows in Tessie. There is no COP setting in my Tesla app or on screen. Today I got in the CT it was 119 in the cabin and the steering wheel was to hot to hold for the 1st minute. I am watching the temp now and it seems like it's steady climb from my set climate to now 109...no change in the graph curve so it seems nothing happened at 100 which is where Tessie thinks it should kick in...
