NOT A GOOD DAY FOR MY BEAST

It started with a simple screen warning…front camera needs to be cleaned. Wipers didn’t do it. Then multiple warnings…everything from seat belts to wiper fluid. Then all warning light started blinking red and then total power loss. Lucky I was able to creep a parking spot 100 yards away. Did a couple of total of resets that didn’t help. Then a total crash no power, no screen, everything locked down. Good thing I had drivers door open, or I would have had to pull manuall door lock to get out.

Good part Tesla had a tow truck there in an hour. In the Tesla shop awaiting parts. Not sure of the problem yet. It is scheduled to be fixed by Saturday.

The small price you pay for keeping up with state of the art technology advances. Still,love the Beast. The new model Y loaner is greatly improved in ride and quietness.

Just like anything it is personal preference. They look interesting but all I can see ever is a nightmare trying to clean all those extra surfaces from brake dust. We don’t get a bumch but we definitely get our fair share on these cars. That just added a factor of 30 to your headache of cleaning and detailing.​

I’ve already had the PCS replaced.

Why couldn’t still be the PCS? Is there proof that the ones they replaced cannot go bad? When they replaced mine last month they said I still have warranty in case it goes bad again.

Pcs doesn't throw all those codes. It just doesn't charge. If they're giving you a date for pickup, then they know what's wrong and how to fix it

you are right…..I find they don’t like to go into details of any fix. I will see if I can give a more definitive answer when I pick it up. When I had the PCS replace because it wasn’t taking a charge they were reluctant to discuss what was replaced.

When I said this time maybe it is the PCS….the response was no we already replaced that.

when my PCS went out it simply wouldn’t take a charge.

This it went through a whole series of gyrations and different warnings on the screen before totally shutting down DEAD. It was warning my washer fluid, my seatbelts were disconnect, my cameras were blocked, warnings to pull over, etc etc. My battery
was 80% charged when this happen. It was more like a total computer failure.

simply personal prefrence. To each his own. Don’t want to start a riot. I wanted to get away from the black rims. To me if you stand 25 feet away from the truck most all of the black rims with the black tires look the same. Just a big black round spot on the truck. Hard to even see a design. Just a personal opinion and of course my aging eyes….
