Hey everyone,
Just want to add to the knowledge base on here in case others have this same issue. I got up one morning this month to see that my beast had not charged the night before. When I went out to check on it, I see a charge error on the screen, basically unable to charge, please try another charger. I tried my travel charger and got the same error. I booked it in for service the next day. It's in for a whole week of repair and pickup was going to be this past Friday. I check the app and see it is being test driven in the morning. All looks good. Then I see it is plugged in for charging and the same error is showing in the app with the charge cable red. I message service and they tell me they will look into it. Then I see it is charging in the app. I figure they got it squared away. Wrong!
They called me to tell me that they originally misdiagnosed it. They spent the week replacing the Power Conversion System but that was not the issue. The issue is the ethernet communication cable. The charging I saw in the app was from a supercharger which will work but the communication from a regular charger does not. So they have to replace that ethernet cable and it should be fixed.
My point of posting this is that if you have this same issue of not being able to charge with these errors, have them try to charge at the supercharger and the home charger to rule out the ethernet comm cable before they replace a whole bunch of stuff they don't need to.
I still don't have it back yet but I will update with a final resolution once I do. Upside, they installed my lightbar!
