While I agree that the media makes it seem worse than it really is I get flipped off often and had a guy yell from his car cussing me out yesterday when I was walking in the grocery store.
Yeah, the media campaign is working on weak-minded sheep. They see all this media propaganda and they do get influenced...

Propaganda does work. And it is everywhere in this age of disinformation.

I've been lucky so far (knock on wood...or, maybe S.S. ?). Sometimes I hear something when my windows are down and speculate what it was...like if someone was saying something negative, but I can't be sure because I didn't hear it clearly.

I swear I read the lips of a dude sitting at an intersection, going sideways with me say "What a fucking ugly truck..." and I swear he was in the ugliest truck ever...it was landscaping business themed with actual astro-turf on the roof...it was a little tiny truck...I can't even find an image online close to it. It was so ironic! It reminded me to the truck from dumb and dumber, but landscaping green grass-wrapped instead:

I personally never see the hate. I think the media is spouting propaganda to influence public opinion making it seem like there is all this hate out there, but I don't experience it at all. Like I've seen the same exact video clip of some tesla's burning at a dealership rebroadcast like hundreds of times on different media outlets and they make it seem like it is happening eveywhere. It isn't.

It's all propganda.
Like with most of the media disinformation, they start with a kernel of truth and then turn it into a bigger narrative than it ever was.

That's how you create false narratives, you take a fringe position and present it in a way that makes it seem normal or mainstream.

I've seen the hate, but it only comes from a minority fringe type of person, who appear to be brainwashed by things like the media and certain social networking sites, most people are genuinely curious about the Cybertruck (in a friendly manner), or they really like it.

Just a couple of days ago I was driving along a rural highway and saw two cars coming my way. The first driver flipped me off (in a manner that would have been easily visible to the second driver, right in the center of the windshield). The second driver saw this anti-social act and decided to support me. By the time we crossed paths he was giving me an enthusiastic thumbs up through his driver window.

The weird combination totally made my day. One guy was a happy person, the other had a lot of pent up anger. If not for the Cybertrucks very existance, all that pent-up anger would come out in other ways.

What I’m noticing more of over the last few weeks are more people are telling me they love the Cybertruck. I feel like there’s people out there realizing the crazies out there and they’re trying to spread good vibes.

I've been noticing this too and it's not difficult to understand why.

It's a pretty easy decision for most people. Do you want to support freakish looking men in lipstick and dresses committing property crimes and spouting nonsense, or normal, law-abiding citizens buying the most American cars and trucks that are made by a brilliant guy working at no charge on behalf of taxpayers to put the country on a more solid financial footing?

You have to be pretty far in left field to root for the freaks spouting nonsense.

I think it really depends on where you live. Sorry that happened to you.

With all the hate and harassment we get just for owning a certain truck it was a great reminder of the happiness they bring too. A local church was hosting a “Touch a Truck” where there were fire truck, tractors, ambulances and all kinds of vehicles that kids could sit in and have fun. They asked me to bring my Cybertruck and it was a hit! I set up the racing game so the kids could play it with the steering wheel. And did the light show a few times. I had kids running up hugging me thanking them for letting them play in it. Just remember that for every middle finger you get on the road there is 5 kids with stars in their eyes yelling to their parents about how they saw a cybertruck!

Love this! Great event!
Whenever I pull up to my kids daycare/school the kids start chanting Cybertruck. Super cute but I've had the truck for nearly a year and apparently the novelty hasn't worn off yet.

Also i had no idea about the driving game! Will need to check it out!

I had a similar experience when I was invited to show my truck at a local school's STEM night for children and parents. Let them climb all over it.

I've had two cases recently where people flagged me down just to tell me they admire me for having a CT and are praying for my safety from the haters. If you believe in such things as I do, the haters are really the ones who need our prayers, as they and their families are the ones with serious problems.
