For $800 cross bars, you'd think they'd include to needed alternate applique(costs maybe $8 dollars to mfg if that) that with flip ups, in the set.

One would think. Yet many think 8 bucks is nothing.

That is a huge number in the world of car components.

If one saves even 50 cents as an engineer or parts person you have done your job for the year and get a letter in your file.

Those 8 bucks add up here and there, and are often called options or just eliminated.

Tesla seems to be quicker to the game than most.

I don't need them need them, but went ahead and snagged them, as there's no telling how limited the quantity is and how long it'll be until they're available again...

I grabbed 2 sets as well. Been waiting for this for carrying longer lumber. Price seems pretty on par with aftermarket

That's spendy for two bars, similar to the $700 unpowered frunk ice chest.

Guessing the pricing is because they can't make many of them yet and are trying to encourage FS owners to burn off their vouchers before year-end.

I'll keep waiting on the light bar and tire air compressor.

Strangely the instructions suggest all 8 attachment points be installed but they only provide the nuts to install 4.

The vehicle should have 8 nuts already installed on its front-most mounting points so that you are able to install all. Cheers.

Likely also dropped the wiring harness there.

No I think the harness will still be there and you can just buy the applique with the extra openings and access the wires like before.

Hello, Anyone know the Tesla PN for the crossbar brackets? The bracket that gets installed on the truck body?
