During the day I always park "Extract", driving "Off - Road" "High" for distance less than 50 miles. Overnight at home, is it better if I park "Entry"?

Shouldn't matter and leaving it at the same height is easier on tires and suspension than lowering it all the way when not moving.

Why would one be 'better' than another, mechanically?

Entry is 'safer' (unless you expect to be flooded by 12") though I don't know about better or worse 'mechanically'.

When i still had my truck, i would park in extract a few times just to show off how imposing it looked. Its peak is over 6ft tall. Something about how taut the suspension felt in extract made me nervous, like an overfilled balloon… sure, it *Technically* could go that high… but tesla makes it clear that driving like that is not what extract is for… also made getting out of the truck a pain, felt like i was crushing the seat bolster.

most of the time i used entry as it felt no different than getting i/o of a model Y.
