I got a call from Tesla about delays getting parts. My Cybertruck now can not charge at all. I am on a cruise and I was hoping to get serviced soon after I got back. My service appointment is on April 17th and little worried on how long it is going to take. It took about 3 weeks from being able to charge at 24A to not able to charge.

A parts delay for you doesn’t mean a parts shortage for all. What did they say is the expected date?

Mine was delayed and then it was received three days early and they got it instantly done.

I dropped off my truck last Wednesday (4/1) and they indicated a “backorder” for the PCS with an unknown timeline. Fast forward to this morning and I received a text that the part arrives this afternoon and my truck should be ready for pickup tomorrow. Hopefully any backlog gets resolved soon for others waiting on parts.

Same story for me. Dropped my truck off yesterday. No ETA on the parts. They did tell me some parts were taking 3 or more weeks, let’s see. I have a MX, which is fun in the meantime.

Question, when mine started to have an issue it would still charge at 24 amps at home. Is there a point after that it will no longer charge at all? They changed mine when I had tires rotated. Actual job is very quick.

My truck has been in the shop since last Friday, they called me today and told me there is a PCS parts shortage also. Looks like it's a huge problem after all, not like we've been saying the same thing for months..

I dropped my FS Beast off on March 30th, they say the PCS will get there April 13th. So glad they gave me a Model S Plaid, this is a long wait to not have a car.

Well "G" is the revision, I just don't think they fathomed this many trucks could be affected.. But here we are..
Correct. Confirmed with my SC this morning that Revision G is the most current version and the delay I experienced is due to a "tsunami" of repair requests being made resulting in a parts shortage.

The PCS on my ~9000 VIN 2024 DUAL MOTOR FOUNDATION failed and was replaced on October 20, 2025 with Rev E. No issues since then.
Trading it in on a ‘26 Dual Motor
Estimated Delivery 4/21-4/25
I’m hoping it will have better reliability with a new build.

From the invoice:

Replaced the power conversion system and performed a post-repair validation test drive to ensure
the fix. The alert no longer appears and AC charging reinstated.
Correction: Power Conversion System - Remove and Replace
Parts Replaced or Added
POWER CONVERSION SYSTEM -
48AMP(1777777-12-E)

Sorry in advance to the engineers out there...

I hear PCS, PCS, PCS.

Now i see the invoice tag:
POWER CONVERSION SYSTEM -
48AMP(1777777-12-E) vs G.
In Tesla Guy's post

I had a similar crash, months ago, but they said they replaced the ANCILLARY LOW VOLTAGE HARNESS (XXXXXXX-00-G)

Is that the same thing or related?

Just wondering if i have a new PCS in my future? dead truck on the side of the road sucks...
