Losing 11-17% power a day on my dual motor CT. I have tried everything I know of to reduce that back to normal of 1-2% a day which I used to get.
Drainage started about a
Month ago which I blamed my wife lol. But then once I found the park energy readings I saw it was losing energy like crazy and started documenting it.
No overheat protection
No sentry mode
Low power mode
Summon Standby is off
Nothing plugged into usb’s
Even WiFi and data sharing off.
The other day after trouble shooting this I started to get PCS2_a028_CoolantTempTooHigh code while AC charging the truck in my enclosed attached garage. (Of note- it is 105 degrees outside).
I can’t find anything else but this phantom drain is killing my buzz here. Tesla wants $245 to troubleshoot it but I’m pretty damn sure it’s something that’s covered under warranty. (Only 22k on a 22 month old vehicle).
any suggestions on what else I could check on my side?
Also what is the difference between putting your car in low power mode and letting it go to sleep versus choosing the power down option (Tesla tech said to put the he seatbelt into the belt latch and manually flip the door lock mechanism to trick it as if you were still in truck). Would power down not let it randomly wake up or stay awake if it is a PCS issue?
