Tesla installed my spare tire kit taking up about half the flat space of the bed. I feel like I saw a kit for a platform that rests on top of this. Like the cargo divider but horizontal? Anyone have a link ?

I think this is what you're looking for. $500 from Tsportline. Downside, you can't close the tonneau cover with spare on shelf. I didn't know this when I purchased.

Can’t you rig up a bracket of smart to lower the shelf and then you should be able to close the tonneau cover?
Can't lower the shelf due to bed wall taper.

We’ve got a L track crossbar set we’re going to put on the site Monday for $195. They work with OEM molle side panels, cargo bins and spare tire allowing you to create a bench above them.

You can do this with our MOLLE plates 3 wide or any Wilwalkee Packout plates for tools or make your own solution for your needs.

More pics to follow next week!

Saw someone that mounted the spare tire on the crossbars. I’m planning on doing that if I need the vault for for a trip.

Nice!! Would you mind linking the parts? Have you gone far at highway/interstate speeds? I’m wondering about vibrations causing wear?
Thank you!

The crossbars are from Aliexpress which only cost about $300 for all four. If you do not mind waiting a few weeks, buying direct from China has been great so far. 30 minutes ago, I just had some matte black PPF delivered that I ordered two weeks ago.

I had it up there for about 1000 miles. No real issues. The rails flex a little bit when hitting potholes and the like but overall its pretty sturdy for a bunch of Chinese crap cobbled together. I am probably going to buy a longer rack so I can spread the weight across three bars. The spare tire mount comes with a comedic padlock that can be cut with a butter knife. Since it is winter in Chicago and I park on the street occasionally I currently have the spare in the bed. I will put it back up once we are clear of snow and salt. Please note, the wheel and tire weigh 80lbs and is a bit cumbersome. Lifting it on and off is kind of a PITA especially for a 55 year old dude with a hernia!
