power walls in Connecticut installed are currently running $16,000, i have 2 cyberbeasts ,
mikes math, $320,000 in power walls, now if Tesla could only get them to work correctly with and without solar, I would be one happy guy and my wife would stop bitching!

Agreed - I bought two beasts as well and powershare was one of the MAIN reasons for my purchase. If this doesn't work as advertised I will have my personal version of a hissy fit......

We ought to put together a concerted effort to contact Tesla support nicely--each of us--inquiring when it'll be live. they'd be much more inclined to help if it's something that they clearly see is a highly desired feature. Either we all open support tickets or we email. Or both or a mix, I guess. What do you all think? Musk is surprisingly open to customer feedback, it's just hard to ask an on the fly cybertruck question even at, say, the annual shareholders meeting, let alone the quarterly updates where the Say questions are voted on by the masses.

All they need to do is be transparent about the timing and let us know. Sometimes, I wished they’d do this more.

Or talk to an influencer on X that Musk has shared or replied to in the past? Might be an indirect method of knowing he at least saw the issue......

If it turns out that we never get it I am sure someone will figure out how to install the gateway kit and bypass the powerwalls during an outage (at least I hope so as I am invested in this feature as well)
If you set it up like this, you should get Powershare if Powerwall runs out of energy:
Meter -> PWGW -> PSGW3V -> backed up loads and UWC
No coordination between the two though.

I've done this previously and they just directed me to the website.

This is the way.

Also, we're getting ready to move across the country in a few months. There's a very strong chance I take a loss on my truck and switch to a Silverado EV with GM's Energy Home System. Has anybody had experience with the Silverado EV?

Powershare Power wall recall over 10,000 units are being recalled, Units installed from 2000-late 2022, Tesla will replace the power wall free of charge.
Lithium Ion Cells going dead

hopefully this won't effect my set up going forward

I just reached out to see if mine were impacted. I can't imagine that's a huge percentage of installed powerwalls.

I had two Chevy Silverado EVā€˜s on order one came in the price was way higher than I thought it was gonna be at 139k I drove it. I did not like the steering. This was approximately September of last year. The truck was very high. It was hard for me to get in and out of. It was very large. It would not fit in my garage cyber truck fits. It allows me to enter and I don’t have to step up into it and of course the steering wheel. Cyber truck has steer by wire which is just incredible with the four-wheel steering. I am not introduced to the General Motors home experience so I have no information on that. I did not even know that was available. So now I have two cyber beasts. They get the job done with and with out solar in one home in Connecticut and one in Georgia

Thanks for your thoughts. I hadn't considered how much I love the steer-by-wire. I also love the constant software updates for CT. I doubt GM does software nearly as good as Tesla. It'll be a tough choice to continue with the CT, though. I, personally, cannot stand the direction Tesla is going with FSD. I actually wish it were an autopilot. Meaning it does what I tell it to do, rather than some AI with only vision sensors trying to make decisions on my behalf. It's definitely a love/hate relationship these days.

I’m not understanding your FSD. I just downloaded FSD 14.1.7 and tell me it’s amazing it actually avoids potholes and storm drains. I’ve used it for three days on both of my vehicles and I think it’s the best software ever. Guess it’s got some glitches, but they’re pushing an updates this weekend when I bought both of my checks I included the $8000 package so I own it one of my trucks is that free, lifetime connection, free, lifetime, supercharging, free, FSD and 0% financing a cyber base out the door with tax registration and insurance was $117,000. I couldn’t afford to pass it up with 0% financing. I’m using Teslaā€˜s money to pay for this truck I’ve driven up and down the East Coast with both my vehicles with trailers and without on a 1200 mile trip I have to charge five times but when I tow with the trailer, I gotta stop every 90 mins. A 1200 mile trip to 24 hours with a trailer and don’t get me started on the drop and hook because I would have to drop my trailer back into a supercharger charge up and then re-hook the trailer up again.. that will never happen again that’s why I keep my diesel for trailering. If I need to trailer around town, I’ll use the same beast truck is amazing. 845 hp to tow with nothing compares with it but for long trips I’ll keep the diesel.. I don’t see too many pictures out there of a Chevy Silverado EV towing anything. But there are hundreds of pictures of people using the cyber truck as a work truck and especially on farms, towing construction, etc..

My powerwall 3 was installed in July. It failed from the start and the replacement has been on back order. It just came in and the contractor will install it next week.

was the failure due to the lithinum ion battery or the power share unit and chager?
do you have solar or is this just a backup, i am finding with the solar home, tesla is just not there yet
