I ordered my truck in 6/21. My purchase agreement says it includes a voucher to purchase the equipment, but nothing about taxes. Has anyone else ordered there’s and paid the taxes?

Voucher items are tax free (most/all states) so be sure to use all $2,500 pretax.

They charged me sale tax for my order. I did add 2 extra things for a grand total just under $3200.

hmm, I ordered mine recently and i'm pretty sure there was no mention of taxes either. Maybe it varies by state? Not 100% certain tho.

Yes I just received a Docusign today from Qmerit , it was a Department of revenue
Sales Tax exemption certificate. For no Tax on work done from the installer. For installation of home energ. (PowerShare)

I have been screwed on almost everything I have done with my Cybertruck. Lost the $4k credit because they decided to stop it before I was able to configure, got caught up in the GEICO debacle here in NY, and now paying sales tax because the gateway is being shipped to my house instead of what I am reading now, QMert taking care of it for me. I am going through Qmerit as well so I am paying the premium but not getting any benefits.
The one saving grace knock on wood is I haven’t had any major issues with my truck. Yes I have a service call in for some minor things, but again no red screen of death.
My $20k founders edition is really hurting as I am coming to try to justify only getting FSD and connectivity while losing out on $4k for the power share and now a few hundred bucks on sale tax.
Let’s not even mention this is my 4th Tesla, and I have referred multiple people. I understand things change and “deals” change but man i waited over 3 years for the damn thing and then to miss out on the $4k credit because I was a few weeks after their cut off date. That wasn’t my fault and it is kind of shitty because I would have taken the truck way before they offered it to me. But then again I am not some A lister movie star or YouTuber.

Welcome to the Tesla Club. I ordered my cyber beast over four years ago and finalized it in May. But no one told me about Tesla canceling the $4000 installation credit for the Gateway but Tesla did let me order it online and shipped to my house the gateway v3. That’s only supposed to be delivered to authorize Tesla electrical certified installers. Called Qmerit for installation cost and got a ridiculous price of $8,500.00 for a one day installation with a couple hundred dollars in parts. It is cheaper to get a gas generator lol. Try getting an answer from Tesla. Good luck. It’s funny on YouTube. They still say you get an installation credit. Thank God, the gateway V3 makes a great paperweight.
