Received CT 2 months ago. Moving to new home in a few weeks. Don’t really want to have electrician unhook old charger from existing home to new home -would much rather have Tesla installer put in PowerShare.

Received eligibility notice from Tesla PowerShare team even before VIN and then a week after delivery received notice they were training installers in my area, giving
Me 2 months free supercharger use (kinda useless).

The communications I had from Powershare team were from a “noreply” Tesla address..

I tried making a service appointment just to see if that would spur communication, but doubt it will.

Any ideas?

Same question here. The initial 'survey' email looked generic and the links are all expired. About to take delivery and would like to know how to get the Powershare installation going.

Similar situation. Last communication from PowerShare was the survey. I’ve taken delivery of the truck. Crickets from PowerShare group. No free supercharging either.

They were super responsive when I was thinking about having the install done. Reached back to my Energy Rep about 4 weeks ago saying I would like to decline install and then sent 3 more messages since and have not heard anything back and still don't have the credits. Frustrating.

I have had the exact same experience. Radio silent once I declined the $9K quote.

Powershare Communication is surely a disappointment, though I suppose reassuring we’re all in the same boat. I wonder whether firing the supercharger team has implications on Powershare team.
Had the local Tesla solar people reach out and offer to install 3 power walls and a universal charger for $23k and then later install the gateway when it becomes available, but doesn’t seem a good use of money.
I’ll probably have
My electrician install my existing charger
As a stopgap.

Couldn't get a hold of them either. I found 1 and only 1 installer after calling a dozen who would touch it. I can't test it yet since the setting is not shown in the app though.

I have partial home backup with 1 powerwall. Nobody was willing to install a charger into the panel as it said Do Not Add New Loads. This installer didn't care and added a 60amp breaker. CT now charges at 25-26mi/hour instead of the 17mi/hr on the 14-50 outlet. If you see a CT on fire, it's mine as I couldn't get any support from Tesla on the installation.

1 other installer wanted $5,500 to redo my setup. Wasn't worth it just to get powershare. My current install was only $250. Good deal even if it doesn't offer backup since my 1 powerwall was already enough to backup my house for 3 days (without AC and charging).
