I received the same email today, but I'm not seeing it as activated in my app and am curious if it's just my install or if you're seeing the same thing. If I go to My Home in the Tesla app, it shows my Wall Connector is offline, but it does show up under my Tesla Electric view as being online.Just got an email from Tesla starting Powershare has been enabled. I've not had a chance to test yet.![]()
They had to move my meter to make room for an emergency cutoff and install the gateway. There are two breakers in the emergency cutoff, one feeds the dryer circuit and the other feeds gateway. Everything except the dryer is backed up. We'll see if the truck can provide enough amperage to start the AC compressor.Cool, congrats!
Can you tell us what work you had to do to your house to get this working?
I had the same issue with the wall connector at first. It reported having WiFi issues though it was connected to WiFi. I had to open a ticket to get that sorted.I received the same email today, but I'm not seeing it as activated in my app and am curious if it's just my install or if you're seeing the same thing. Also, if I look at the Gateway for what version it is running, it shows no value for the firmware version.

I do see the option on my truck to enable Powershare and it is turned on, but I don't see the ability (as shown in Tesla's screenshots) to limit how much of the battery can be consumed before Powershare cuts off.

Something seems wrong to me, but when I reached out to Tesla about it yesterday they told me the software wasn't coming until June. I'm not sure if they're misinformed or if what I'm seeing is expected at this time. :/
Cool. I'm on with Tesla support right now and trying to work through why my Wall Connector is showing offline when it really doesn't seem to be.I had the same issue with the wall connector at first. The powershare page in my app looks the same as yours. I'm not at home so can't test yet.
What kind of Powerwall and gateway do you have?So with us who have Powerwall and be denied to get Gateway V3, still have to wait until end of 2024. That sucks.
I have Powerwall V2 with Gateway V2What kind of Powerwall and gateway do you have?
How many amps is the Powershare plug rated for? Is it mounted outside or in the garage? They had to move my meter to make room for an emergency cutoff and install the gateway.
