Predicted Premium Sound Package for Cybertruck?

Hello CT Fam,

I am an audiophile and have heard that Tesla vehicles have some of the best sound packages out there. Do you guys think that the CT will have a premium sound package option and perhaps 1-up their current premium sound package in existing Tesla vehicles?

Just curious about what kind of sound system will be equipped in this beast.

I'm hoping so. What I am less hopeful about is that there will be a clean AUX jack in case I want to be able to use my own portable source gear with the sweet speakers.

You'll probably want a USB DAC. You can't have a clean AUX into a digital system otherwise.

Though... I don't know. I don't see a USB or AUX in.

I suspect them giving me a clean USB input is even less likely than getting a semi-clean aux input. But my Fiio M17 is ready to go in case they do

I don’t use a radio when driving. Sometimes I do use the spoken turn-by-turn in the navigation though. As long as the speakers are sufficient for me to understand things like that I would be good. My current Ford is a Platinum trim with whichever upgraded system that comes with but I really couldn’t tell you what it sounds like.

Teslas usually have quite good audio.. likely Cybertruck will as well.

I don’t think there will be a premium audio upgrade though, Tesla made premium sound standard some time ago.

I also do not listen to music (the radio). I have some friends who say not listening to music is a sign of being a sociopath. I just say “Shhhh! don’t tell anyone!”.

I do listen to podcasts, so I hope it does spoken word well also. Also hoping for active noise cancelation.

Having CarPlay is my top unmet requirement, and it sucks.
