Is it just me, or did it seem like Elon/Tesla didn't even look at these possible questions until today's earning call.

Not a good look when they stumbled on these.

they had each ‘prepared’ comments for question’s divided up between the speakers.

but a few, Musk in particular, seemed to have prepared their own parts by saying ‘I’ll wing it’

which seems like maybe was a bad idea for Musk in particular, because he was obviously so annoyed with some of the questions (and his own people) that his ‘winging it’ was to me sort of seething

he barely stopped himself from calling WFH people “stupid” … but didn’t stop himself enough for folks to not hear it

He got pretty stirred up about Work From Home. Without Zack there. Elon didn't seem to have a filter.

Elon doesn't like working from a script, even if he has them ahead of time.

Yep, many years ago my dad taught me about the 5 P's.
Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.

That was a poor performance.

I thought he did great. Those were very focused, candid seeming answers, focused on why things are moving at the pace they are.

I haven’t heard a single financial analyst say that Musk’s “performance” was even noteworthy. I don’t know what people here were expecting, but the people for whom this venue was intended, seem to be ok with his performance.

That's your opinion. Here's a different take (BTW my take isn't as bad as this)
