Has anyone tried the Escort REDLINE 360c model inside their truck? I have been a longtime user of the Valentine 1 detector going back almost 30 years but the built in GPS features of the top end Escort model have me ready to purchase it. I know seeing signals from behind is likely not happening with the tonneau cover down, but I really only need it for times that I pass a truck. I stick to speeds that don't get me a ticket but I do like to know that when I accelerate past that truck I'm not doing it right where they are looking and it's not like my truck can be mistaken for any other vehicle. I am also curious how many of us have been pulled over just for the officer to get a good look at the Cybertruck.

I got pulled over 2 days ago in Pinellas county. I supposedly went 51 in a 40 zone. I frankly just went with the flow, there was quite some traffic. I am an Escort 360c user for ~3 years now and I'm happy with it, but I don't normally bring the device from my Model X to the CT if I only have 1-2 days with the CT (some days it's rented out).

Thank you. Does the 360c identify with arrows sources through the tonneau cover such as when it ID's the source in front and as you drive by it swaps to behind as you pass it? How are you powering it in the truck?

Kind of curious if there's a way to hang a detector from the (vacated) rear view mirror spot. It would still need an arm to get it low enough to clear the camera assembly, but seems like that would be a neat install?

Nice, thanks @Stuck4ger

Now I need to research what's the best detector these days....had a V1 and an Escort 9500ci with laser jammers back in the day, but not been a part of the detector world recently. Ideal placement in the CT though, since the mirror is useless.

I run a Uniden R7. It shows radar from behind with the tonneau cover closed.

Is anyone using their radar without going through mirror tap (i.e., using the USB-C port). What RJ-11 to USB-C cable do you use?
