you tell people that, and yourself that - but only based on the fact that you neither understand nor correct your errors

just for one example: the substance of this thread... you continue to say nonsensical stuff like 'production began in April' and have refused to ever correct your exclamations from back in July that production began

to wit:

you don't seem to be able to grasp that i havent disagreed with the above - but instead made the distinction that what THEY are saying and what YOU are understanding are two different things

but now you clarify they said "some level of production"

no duh.

they've been building things at GFTX .. including the pilot line itself, since then

I'm not *trying to discredit you*... I'm pointing out the inconsistencies and errors in things you say

what discredits you, if anything, is your disinterest in those errors/inconsistencies ... that's your choice

I'm not implying you're "stupid", and to suggest that is more of the same

I'm saying exactly the words and concepts I intend:
I suspect that the guy in Mesa that said it isn't a production vehicle is wrong, but he may have his own definition of what production is.

could totally be the case, of course

all just circling back to our earlier discussion about the various strange signals that Tesla is so far with these FS's seemingly, possibly, threading some needle whereby Tesla is not yet technically - from a regulatory/financial reporting perspective - in production of the Cybertruck.

One way or another, we'll have some incremental clarity come back-end of January, when the Q4/YE '22 financial reporting comes out.

Sooner than that, e.g., over the next week or two, we could get some earlier signals if for example Tesla starts delivering a bunch of trucks, publishes the owners manual, we begin seeing Monroney stickers from people taking possession, the website changes to finalized EPA numbers and finalized pricing, etc.

Or he might have thought it was an release candidate truck.

But the Foundation Series is definitionally a production vehicle. You have to put the line somewhere, and it is usually where they are 'producing' trucks to sell, as opposed to test and not sell.
