Only ~2k CT's recalled from that period (and only 1% of those potentially affected).

Does this recall only apply to CB's?? Seems like they made more than 2k CT's from November 2023 to July 2024??

Early Adopters (I must have it first, I don’t care) don’t care…

They will conjur up a way to turn this into a positive.. unless their tempo has changed

????

Almost flip when I saw Nov but from 2023. Hope late 2024 build are solid. Empathy for early Foundation owners.

I picked mine up in August... I suppose if mine was affected, I'll be notified. (Maybe they'll fix my horribly blurry-at-night rear camera, too)

Yep, just checked as well and nothing. took delivery May 17th with vin 86xx
Would have thought I would be included.
Why? Only 2,431 vehicles are affected, that's only 2 weeks worth of trucks.

Recall DateRecall NumberDetails
November 5, 202424V832Description:
Tesla has issued a voluntary recall on certain Model Year (MY) 2024 Cybertruck vehicles produced within the build dates November 6, 2023 – July 30, 2024, that are or were equipped with metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFET) in the drive inverter. On affected vehicles a fault in the drive inverter may cause it to stop producing torque.
Safety Risk:
If the inverter stops producing torque, the driver loses the ability to apply torque to the vehicle using the accelerator pedal resulting in a loss of propulsion, which may increase the risk of a collision. No warning occurs prior to the loss of propulsion. However, when the driver loses the ability to apply torque, they will immediately receive a visual alert on the user interface, with an instruction to safely pull over the vehicle to the side of the road and contact Tesla Roadside for assistance.
Remedy:
At no charge to the customer, Tesla will replace the recalled drive inverter with a drive inverter equipped with a properly functioning MOSFET component.

Checked my VIN and lucky me, it is not affected...

The Tesla site says my VIN (March '24) is not included, but IDK if the database is current.

They already owe me a new wiper motor, throttle, and sail applique. Maybe if I wait long enough they'll need to replace the whole truck :ROFLMAO:

All worth it! I just love it so! Still haven't taken it in my February 2024 early build for the pedal or rear trim recall, but this I'll have to do (and I'm sure they'll add the others).

Also, I think most early adopters are a little different than what you are implying since we were just called on first. It's not like we went to a reseller or paid a crazy high price to get it first (albeit it turned out to be a few thousand dollars more than now).

My February 2024 build was, so you're probably in the clear!

I wonder if this might not apply for those of us who got the rear motor inverter proactively replaced.
Mine failed and was replaced on Oct. 3rd. I have an appointment this Monday, Nov. 18th, for an unrelated issue, but the inverter recall propagated my service appointment. I let them know it was replaced on Oct. 3rd, but Tesla wants to make sure I have the right part installed. Guess I'll find out on Monday.

I wonder if all the affected VINs haven't been loaded into the system for this recall yet? I took delivery of my Truck May 10th, so I would have expected it to fall within this time frame, however the Tesla VIN search doesn't list my truck as affected.
