Well, since there haven't been any deliveries or new dates the last week, I don't see why that's surprising.

Now, after deliveries resume and we don't hear after a week... Well, maybe then. I bet they have thousands of responses to sort through.

I've seen numerous reports of ongoing deliveries on this very forum over the past week, but even if no deliveries happened, how would that impact validation of submitted documents for a program that went live nearly 45 days ago? There were referral point recipients getting confirmation in 12 hours or less, where's that team when you need them?

Well it is JUST NOT TRUE THAT THEY ARE NOT DELIVERING TRUCKS!

It's so weird how no one here seems to think that referral points, which are just a number in their database, might be super-easy to automate; versus going through a bunch of PDFs by hand for each person?

It's almost like everyone's forgotten how long actual paperwork might take. The old, 'six to eight weeks'.

And 'numerous reports of ongoing deliveries' during a delivery hold? Really?

Yeah, was quite surprised when he announced it. Wonder what this means for the shareholder accelerated delivery program.

Let’s be honest. It was a ploy to get everyone signed up on the platform so that they can make it easier to vote on June 13th.

Pretty sure the shareholder vote goes through brokers, not the Tesla site.

Thanks to Martin for engaging retail shareholders and opening opportunities to participate through special events. Hopefully the Early Delivery for Long Term Shareholders program doesn't disappear with Martin. *fingers crossed*

Wow…
unless I don’t understand what you’re saying, I would think that every long-term shareholder would’ve been already signed up before this program or I question they’re holding that much stock, and not watching it!

Full text of Martin Viecha’s farewell

Folks, today was my final earnings call with Tesla. About a month ago, I spoke with Elon and Vaibhav, to announce that I’m going to be retiring from the world of investor relations and moving on. I’ll be helping out for another couple of months or so, to make sure that there’s a smooth transition. Working for Tesla for the past ~7 years has been the greatest privilege of my professional life. Being able to watch Tesla from the inside, since the early days of Model 3 production hell, watching it transition from day-to-day survival to a company that it is today, has felt more than surreal. You might have guessed that it’s been a crazy ride, and it surely was. The memories will stay with me forever. I’m thankful to all my colleagues who taught me about manufacturing, batteries, FSD, AI, motors, Supercharging, software, vehicle architecture and design – the lot. Being able to call execs who I consider to be world class and learn from them was my favorite part of this job. I’m thankful to Elon and the Board for giving me this opportunity and for actively seeking feedback about investors, about the industry, about what could be improved. I always felt a lot of freedom to work on projects that I thought made most sense. I always voiced views and opinions of the shareholder community, the good and the bad, unfiltered, with key stakeholders at Tesla, as I believe this feedback loop is a critical component for success of any company. I’m especially excited about how Tesla’s relationship with retail shareholders has evolved. It’s super hard to figure out retail shareholder engagement (since there are millions of you), but I think we moved things in the right direction, enabling the Say platform for earnings call Q&A, doing random drawings for various events and even early Cybertruck delivery for long term shareholders. As you can imagine, this has been a super hard decision. I’ll continue to watch Tesla as a supporter and a shareholder for years to come. But now, after a 7-year sprint, it's time to take a break and spend a lot of time with my family. Love you all, Martin
