Wondering about placement. No way it can go way down by the base of the window and be able to get it back off.

Guessing there are some placed already. ?

Technically, the TX registration sticker can be anywhere on the driver's side in the lower half of the windshield. Of course, lower is better for visibility.

I used a Sticker Shield, which is highly recommended. It's basically a clear plastic "Post-It" that adheres well, but is straightforward to remove. It was a stretch, but I got it to within a few inches of the bottom.

I used the same thing for my TxTag, which is out-of-sight on the passenger side, next to the mirror/camera and tucked under the header trim. It's behind the black part of the windshield glass and is completely invisible from the outside, and I can confirm it still triggers the tag readers.

Oh geez, I'm glad you mentioned that. I had completely forgotten about the clings. Had that on my Benz van's giant windshield that was tinted.

Good news on the TxTag placement as well.

Thanks.

This is an interesting topic. In Rhode Island, it has to be in the lower right corner so "as not to obstruct the operator's vision". Putting the sticker there in the Cybertruck would literally be in view all the time given the windshield angle. I think Massachusetts has the same sticker placement rule.

The Registration sticker does not obscure my vision at all. Well, no moreso than the A pillar lol.

The TxTag is under the blacked-out part of the windshield and is completely invisible from the outside, and barely from the inside. I had to pull the trim back a bit to get it up that high, but the sticker itself is small (and I used a Sticker Shield there as well).

Have you tried using Taxtg outside Austin? I talked to Taxtg people and they told me in most Austin area toll road, they can read license plate even the tag is not working.

The TxTag statement shows the tag number (or plate number) on each transaction. It is scanning the tag.

This is definitely not correct. On the right hand middle there is the inspection sticker and it's definitely Not at the CyberTruck Tilt Angle!!!!

I did exactly the same, on both counts, Gus…it’s all good. Many thanks to Lee for giving me the sticker gizmos.
