Tried out the Falken Wildpeak AT4’s for approximately 1/2 hour and found out they were not the right fit for the truck. So went to the Michelins. WOW! What a difference! Smoothest the truck has ever been. Soft ride, great traction (Wet & Dry), and an overall quiet ride so far both Local and Interstate. Op’s review is spot on. The only two things I noticed was the handling is very touchy, but could be normal coming from a worn out set of OEM AT’S and they seem to pickup rocks in the tread that don’t want to come out unless done manually. On a side note……….my driveway leading to the barn is 3/4” gravel so that doesn’t help the situation. Lastly, I run the covers and there is plenty of space between the tire and the covers.

What kind of range improvement or loss are you seeing over the oem AT with the tire change and still using the aero covers?

Range improvement from my data added in several posts throughout the thread. Begin with the original post, updates are linked at the bottom of that post. I don't use the aero covers and still see greater than 10% efficiency gain over the Stock AT's

After driving to and from Texas to Key West and back. Plus, Texas to pigeon Forge, TN and back. About 6,000 miles.
Still happy with the Michelins.
But, wow. The efficiency is just as any heavy pickup truck. I compared the Supercharging costs of the trip from DFW to Pigeon Forge and back. That cost was about $312.
I used Gas buddy trip cost estimator and it said that a big v8 gas truck would cost about $360 for the same trip; however, a standard 4x4 pickup truck (Ford F150) would be about $256.

I pulled the trigger and got the Michelin’s. I changed the settings for wheels and tires to 20” Core to reflex that the tires are now AS. However, it didn’t change the estimated miles. Does anyone know why?

I’ll do that next time to see what I get. (I generally drive in Chill mode.) However, it’s important to note that I have ditch lights and the TSport lightbar.

What a phenomenal thread all. Today I selected Michelin LTX Defender Platinums at Discount Tire. I went there to compare KO3’s and Defenders. A great sales associate helped me compare options. Platinums for the win. I found this thread AFTER the order was placed but it sounds like a hands down choice for me. 99% on road. At 19,800 miles in just shy of a year my Pirelli Scorpions are at 4/32. Worth the smiles per mile but Platinums with a 70,000 warranty and less energy use impresses!

You'll love them. Getting around 416Wh/Mi on interstate this week on a 200 mi round trip and had them under inflated by 5lbs (mistake on my part).

Unfortunately, with the road hazard coverages that is about what I also paid late last year after taxes and fees. (I also purchase the road hazard.)
I drive on chill now after that hit to the wallet. Haha

I just bit the bullet and had these installed by Discount Tire in Boerne, TX for $2,401.71 with their lifetime warranty and rotation/balance after 13 months of Cybertruck ownership.

Replaced the stock Pirelli all season tires at 22,700 mi. which had a tread depth of 5/4/4/3.

First impressions: smooth ride, look more badass… but some slight road noise that the Pirelli’s didn’t have before.

According to Grok, the road noise should lesson and possibly even disappear as they wear in, which makes sense with the new rubber and aggressive tread pattern.
