It does, thanks! Do you need the drop in specific t nuts for the bars shipping this week? or now it will have slots that work with regular t nuts?

Also, there was a mention of a rubber stripping to prevent wind noise. Are those available to order? I put an order in yesterday for two bars plus t nuts. Just want to confirm I have everything I need. Is it easiest to call on Monday perhaps? Thank you.
Thanks for your business! Yes, the rubber is on the site to order at the bottom of the list. email me [email protected] and I'll add a strip to your order.

The standard 1/4"-20 T-nut will work on either Heavy duty or light duty bars. The drop in's are nice if you need to add in the middl for the first batch of kits.

Do the applique door covers to the mount bolts need to be removed for installation?

I notice that no one talks about the OEM crossbars in this thread. I like the extrusions that Cybertruckco and MARS use but I like the way that Tesla made the bars so that they could easily be moved around. Does anyone have comments on the OEM crossbars?

Yes, I purchased the OEM cross bars after reviewing the options, including building my own. A friend dropped by and showed me his OEM bars. I had not realized the quality, as well as the ease to move them around and to remove them. The variable width (since the truck is not square) is the great feature that the OEM bars have, the lock is simple and convenient, and the catch mechanism to anchor to the truck is super simple. They cost more. I take mine on and off in 1 minute when they are not needed. It is a typical Tesla quality product.

As for carrying bicycles, I made a plywood stand for the rear wheels that slips between the D-ring floor hooks. With those D rings upright, the slot in the base of the stand just fits in, with gravity alone. Narrow upright plywood boxes hold the rear wheels upright. One strap holds two or three bikes in the truck, but I have to drive with the tail gate down, since the wheels reach there by 6". Cheap and easy, sorry there is not a photo (because the bike box is in winter storage).

MARS and CybertruckCo both have cutouts in their cross bars for T-Slot accessories. Does the OEM crossbar have them? I cannot tell from the pix on the store. Also, when the crossbar template is placed over the mounting point, did you have to remove the cover plate or does that just go into the crossbar base? Thanks. Although more expensive, I am currently leaning toward the OEM crossbars because they are easier to remove/move and will probably be strong enough for things I envision carrying.

I on't suppose that anyone has closeup pix of the OEM crossbars: mounts, mounting, rails near mounts, rails at adjustments, etc.

Here you go:
1. Rack attached to CT
2. Rack unlatched and rolled forward 90 degrees. Note that the slot cover is folded up to attach rack.
3. Mechanism to attach rack. Turn key, fold side plate back, slip rack end in slot on CT, close side plate. Super easy.
4. Sliding mechanism. Friction fit, no bolts or tools required. Super smooth.

Rack on-and-off is easy, with only the key required. The rack mounts fit easily in their receptors. Closing the key-lid locks the rack down to the car. The width changes by sliding the rack wider or narrower to fit each of the four rack positions. No tools required.

The aluminum mount pieces are bolted into the slots on the truck; two nuts each, with a torque wrench included; took 20 minutes in cold weather and this task is only done once. Four mounts are included, so the 2 racks can be used in any position. Each rack is pretty heavy, about 20 lbs or more.

I’ve worked with @CYBERTRUCKco and I love their setup. I have the heavy duty crossbars in position 1,2,3. I’m sure you’ve seen them but here they are again.

Hello,
Could you tell me what is the height clearance after you mount the spare as you have shown in the picture? Want to see if would meet clearance for parking garages and the home garage. Thank you.

probably about 6", we don't have that setup[ any longer, but it went in the garage no problem. Same with our Topper w/ Camper and top crossbars on it and our 1" lift.

Here is a photo of the CyberCamper with the top crossbars and in entry mode with our 1" lift rods you have approximately 5" clearance in a standard height garage door.

Got the light duty crossbars from @CYBERTRUCKco for carrying bikes, recovery boards and surfboards. The extruded bars with T-slots on all four sides allow unlimited configurations for mounting accessories.

installation was very straightforward. Took me about 20 minutes the first time.

I got the bars for #2 and #3 positions. They are solid and looks great on the CyberTruck .

I frequently load the truck bed full of stuff, and it only takes 30 seconds to unscrew and remove the #3 crossbar from the mounting posts for full truck bed access when I need it.
I'd put the 4 stainless screws and washers in a bag and store the crossbar in the truck bed.

I have had CyberTruckco's crossbars for over 2k on- and off-road miles with no issues and excellent performance. I'll be getting more accessories from CyberTruckco most definitely.

For a vehicle that's manufactured free of any branding or labels, why do all the aftermarket accessory companies, cybertruck co, mars, unplugged, have to smother their names and logos all over the acessories, to be installed on a vehicle that doesn't even have the manufacturers name on it—as a deliberate design ethos!!??

Such a turnoff form any of the prodcuts and would rather not buy a single aftermarket, regardless of the savings, to have their names and logos in bright white on black. So tacky and ugly.

Those were prototypes, our products do not have large branding on the sides!

Cheaply made? Machine billet aluminum is not cheaply made... Our products, and Mars, are not cheaply made like the Chinese Amazon products that are extruded aluminum.

Hope that helps!
