not too far off of what that gloss black PPF with matching trims cost… hence my assertion that most would opt to forgo the dip in favor of the PPF…
$3,700 is including the extra cost for the dipped rims and painted calipers.

I mean most places for a PPF on the low end you’d be looking at least 4k all said and done for just the body that’s not including the plastics or any of that additional cost which I would guess would be 1k at the very very least but I could be wrong. Idk how much it costs for them to prime and paint it or sand it and PPF the plastics.

I didn’t care about the cost to be honest though. I was just so happy with how my model 3 he dipped a few years ago came out that I didn’t see any reason to look elsewhere I knew what I was getting was going to be quality and that getting the plastics done wouldn’t cost me any extra/be an issue this route.

tsportsline PPF is like ~$3k and another ~$1k for the trims. With the advantages of PPF over Dip, going with PPF is the clear winner.

$3000? Is this for film and installation? They are quoting $5200 for film and installation…

Their prices vary depending on supply/demand. Clearly bad timing on your quote.

Pricing depends on film selection…
As you may have noted $3500 currently on their site is discounted. It can fluctuate even further depending on supply/demand as I informed you. As well, you could call them and see if they could accommodate your budget. Again they are flexible and it depends on timing (supply/demand at time of your request).

Good luck!

How does this handle a car wash? I know with wrapped cars you really have to just wash by hand. Can you run yours through one?

For everything including dipping the rims and painting the calipers it was $3,700
What!? I could get her done in dip for under 1k. 2 if I had to buy a gun, rent a space, buy a respirator etc lol

When I did my last truck the issue I ran into was, it started fading after a year or two. I could've done another coat I suppose but I just peeled it off.

Couldn't reach the area between the cab and bed so I'm glad that doesn't exist here lol

I ran my vehicles through car washes with dip. No touch ofc.

And what was cool on my black one, I didn't need to worry about the water drying on it weird. It dried nice every time

Like the other gentleman said you can def take it through a touchless car wash. Other than that I was told just don’t use a super high powered pressure cleaner-like hose up close to it

Where? I'm in the northeast as well. My CT is already wrapped but I would like the rims done.
Got this done at Finest Dips in Boston. If you’re in NY area there’s Pro Dipper NYC in Brooklyn
