Power outlets now work while charging

I just updated to 2024.14.11 this morning and happened to be on a road trip with an electric cooler plugged into one of the AC outlets. I noticed the cooler was still running while we are supercharging, so it seems they must have silently enabled this recently. Not sure if it was today’s update, but I don’t think this was working on the previous 2024.14.x builds.

Also, for anyone going to the Cybertruck meetup in Gatesville, TX tomorrow, the Abbot superchargers appear to be struggling. Multiple of us only getting 5-10kW charging speeds. :/

Charging on DC has never deactivated the AC outlets. It's only when charging on AC that they get deactivated.

Or maybe I'm getting gaslit? ? I'm pretty new to ownership, but it's never shut off my mini fridge at a super charger

Hm, I’d swear I’ve had it shut off my cooler when supercharging on other trips. I’ll be AC charging this evening and can check that as well.

Yeah I've had my truck for like.... 3 days. So I'll let more experienced owners chime in ?

I’ve had mine since February and I’m 70% sure this is new behavior.

No doubt. Fortunately, Waco chargers were good. I usually don’t like that one due to all the road construction around it, but it looks like that’s all done finally.

The manual explicitly says that outlets are disabled during ac charging but remain on during dc charging.

Wonder if when Drew said they’d change that in the future if he meant only for DC charging. I’m still almost certain when I first got my truck, it would disable the outlets when supercharging. At least that’s working.
