this has happened in my X before. I've gotten it out just by turning the seatbelt the other way near the top, and sort of sticking my fingers in the feed hole and twist it back. hope this helps! ?

That does NOT look twisted IMO and looks correct...The lap stap as shown latched in is flat across you thighs...

And the shoulder cross strap as shown latched is also not twisted across your torso?

I agree when the belt is not deployed that latch tab is 'under'...but latched none of the straps are twisted across the person..

I could be missing something...;\..

Maybe hard to see but the shoulder cross strap as shown latched is actually twisted and would have a twist across the torso if you were sitting there.

ok I went back and looked at both sides and extended and then retracted them fully to make sure they weren't getting folded on their way back in. BOTH of my rear ones are installed backwards (that is, if you sit in and buckle it you'll get a twist across your torso which is noticeable and uncomfortable)

Just got back from service center visit today to get this corrected on my CT. They said it was a very easy fix, and I was only there about an hour and they reversed two of my seatbelts as well as replaced the sails under the recall.

yes a common fix, hopefully giga Tx has figured that out ?
My next appointment might have sails and wiper motor fixed, but not sure.

Main reason for visit is to replace center console. Third visit for a “creaking center console when steering”
V1 put in new fasteners on a panel in console. Resolved for 2-3 weeks and noise came back
V2 new fasteners and felt. Not resolved, the creak was back later in the day.
V3 tbd replace entire center console

Anyone know how to flip it back? I went to service and they flipped it for me in 1 minute but my kid is back there and keeps messing it up. I don't want to bring it there just for this reason. Thanks in advance.

Which part is flipped, the buckle or the retracted part of the strap?
If retracted part, pull all the way out then retract.
If the buckle, fold the strap between buckle and retractor over itself (half twist and flatten), then pull the buckle over it.

It's the retracted part of the strap. I pulled it all the way out and I am unable to flip it over. service flipped it back for me in minutes last time. I just have to figure out how the mechanism works and I can do it myself.

The fold over and feed through technique should work there too, but might need a little persuasion (pinch and feed) since you only have the retraction spring to work with.

Ok I got it! I flipped the belt after it was fully pulled all the way out. Not sure if that is the permanent fix but it seems to work as of now. Not sure how to prevent him from flipping it again.

Thanks for your help!

Won't!

No real way to prevent reoccurance without a new piece to tighten the gap. At least it's fixable.
