I took my truck in for an oil change and they have taken it apart trying to find the dipstick.

Actually, I had an accident in March I thought they were going to total the truck but they didn’t. I’m still waiting and this is what it tooks like now.

I’m curious has anyone ever went through this, to this extreme?

THE FRED FLINSTONE CYBERTRUCK! I love it! And I thought George Jetson was ahead of his time.

My 2017 Model X had a low speed rear ender which bent the frame and they had to replace the back of the car from the falcon wing doors! ($40,00 plus!)

Jerryrigeverything had a recent video that is worth a watch if you haven’t seen of Tesla repairing his torn off hitch/frame. Absolutely blew my mind.
Thanks a lot for sharing. Really interesting how thoughtful their design is. But this jerryrigeguy seems to have a split personality (or is he just an expert in triggering people and collecting clicks?). In the previous video he tears down the rear end with over 40kN and insists on how weak the structure is. Thats 4x the total payload! A bump in the road will cause such vertical loads on the hitch? Is he out of his mind? Is the whole world turning into stuff-destroying whistlingdiesel retards?

I was really thinking how possible it would be to make a 'Shooting Brake' CT, with a 3rd row seat. Your picks show where the rear seat panel ends, and where the rear wheel wells are, which is where the 3rd row seat cushion would sit.

I'd buy 2 more front seats for the rear 'captain chairs to allow a small asile to the rear 3rd row.

Exterior, you need a sheet metal shop to cut some rather simple side panels.

...it is nice to at least wonder....right?

Regards
Jack

Definitely need to add some 007 type options while it is apart, or at least plan where they will be placed.
