I want to keep this question as simple as possible. I love teslas, I drive a model y daily and love it. I have tested the awd ct and the trip motor cb and loved both. my question is, are the cubertrucks really embedded with all of these problems? or is it luck of the draw on which one you get? thanks.

Had an Raven performance model X for four years. Loved it. Not in the shop once. Traded for FS CB last November and surprisingly haven't missed the x at all. Only visit to shop was to get the light bar installed. Have not had one single negative reaction beyond my wife thinking I was crazy (till she drove it).

I think with many things there's a vocal minority and a silent majority. Majority being on the side of no issues.

Luck of the draw I guess. Mine has been flawless. Simple answer yes. Ignore the noise.
This is hands down the best car I have ever driven by a wide margin.
Love our refresh model x too but this is a whole step up in my opinion

CT owner since the end if Oct. had a rattle on steering wheel stuff. A small rolled up tissue stopped it. Don’t like service being so far away- 2 hours away. Parts hard to get and very over-priced. Runs well, fast, good heating system, easy to drive and park, and I love being chauffeured with full self driving.

Naturally I'm a bit nervous, the first ct I ever saw in public up close had a malfunction with the back left door. It could only open from the app because the buttons broke. What about garage parking? Is that even a thing with CT? What about range? I'm not interested in towing so I'll skip that. But I like truck stuff like having a bed. I love how the CT has good room for a carseat which is another priority. Just makes me nervous about all the issues. But now that I am in this chat, I feel better about it.

With 4-wheel steering, it a dream to park and front camera view, it’s easy. It a wide vehicle though. I can sleep in the bed and bought a small iceco refrigerator/ freezer and range for cooking. Add a water cooler and I’m set. Don’t forget a thin sheet of plywood to smooth out floor ridges and a decent pad for a bed. I’m a little concerned about built-up condensation and I have yet to invent something to keep a little bit of tonneau cover open without bringing in insects. Maybe something with magnets and insect nettig.

The warranty is 8 years for the battery and drivetrain. I wouldn’t worry about issues. The real issue is if you can deal with the haters. Just today I went to hot yoga. When I went to my truck some other dude drove by laughing and pointing. Then driving home a old lady in a passing car flipped me off. I feel sorry for these people…..they will spew negativity at you. Can you deal with that?

Negativity doesn't bother me.

Then buy one. You won’t regret it. Go for the FS AWD with the free supercharging. After some experience, that’s the sweet spot in my opinion. Also recommend against the white interior and personally prefer the all terrain wheels.
