I just spent nearly two hours applying RainX on my Cyberbeast parked under my carport with the ambient temperature hoovering around 102 degrees?. My, the windshield sure is mighty BIG?
The treated glass does feels slicker. You can tell by running a microfiber towel over it and it just glides?

I'm getting my wiper motor and sail appliques changed this Saturday. VIN 113xx. My wiper motor was busted from delivery day. The appliques look fine to me, but I'll take new ones, haha!!

Interesting (to me anyway, haha!!) is they are also replacing the "wiper arm and blade assembly".

The replacement wiper arm/blade assembly has a different part # than what's currently listed in the EPC.

EPC: 1853255-00-D
Replacement: 1853255-97-D

You do know that in Texas, ANYTHING with an existing bullet hole is a prime candidate for target practice or just wasting rounds when drunk.

That part number (1853255-97-D ) is not the Wiper arm/blade assembly replacement part number?
It's actually just for the wiper arm removal tool
Mentioned in the recall…

Now, it is possible that 1853255-00-D
is a newer version of the assembly.
I had mine replaced in early December and this is the part number for what was installed. Others on this forum who have had there’s is replaced show part #1853252-00-D Which appears to be a previous version based on Tesla’s part numbering system
