Right, I usually drive like that myself and just look at what vehicles does it show to my sides and to the read, but it kind of implies that I have to rely on the vehicle properly sensing its surroundings. I’m not totally comfortable with that yet. The system still misinterprets small trailers with semies and sometime flickers a vehicle in and out of the view. So, theoretically, and maybe one day actually, it will work, but It ain’t today for sure.Actually I have found the “best” rear view camera display is when you swipe the navigation screen all the way to the right and then just have the computer traffic animation full screen. This gives a larger rear view display right in the middle. This might be the best default view and really could be the “permanent” placement (even when the navigation screen is displayed)
