I am a first day reservation holder on the CT, but I have also put down $150 CAD for a silverado and sierra. Although I would much prefer to buy a CT, I have been waiting a long time and will wait to see who has the best offering on price and delivery, though I have little hope or trust for GM (long time GM customer).

Makes more sense than having a bunch of plugs people may or may not use.

And you can still use with a loaded bed.
Suppose it has some advantages in some use cases

But you could accomplish all the same by attaching a breakout box instead to the 240v in the bed - which is where the 7.2kW load is

whereas the breakout box from the CCS is 3kW limit

and in the Frunk they didn’t put but one 120v plug. I guess it came down to the expense of internal wiring/hardware to get above that 7.2kW max

that said, I do like the idea of having a CCS/NACS breakout box adaptor like that as an option

Keep in mind the first GMs won't have the NACS, only CCS. So if you happen to get one in the next year it will immediately be obsolete and resale value will be awful since it will be only one of a handful that can't use NACS.

The charge port will have little effect on value when adapters are available.
