I'm curious as to how I would connect this cord to the fridge though?
The fridge already has a 120V to 14.5V adapter inside it. You just feed that 14.5V 2 wire lead directly with your source of obtaining ~12V:

This is the way most of us have done it (I plan on doing it the same way once I install it.) I already opened the fridge and removed the power brick and ran some wire directly to those plugs. You can literally remove all the guts and just use the plug inside to run wires directly to it. I am going the frunk feed route because I want to be able to easily add more accessories in the future, so doing it once now saves a lot of future hassle.
