OMG, I had a early Model 3. It went for 3 years without access to even the beta.

The folks with the non-USS Model Ys went for about 6 months without it earlier this year.

And I do find it surprising that you've had 4 Tesla in 2 years. Why 2 years? Because that's about how long the betas have been available.
Or did you have the cars before then and thought that Advanced AutoPilot was FSD.

Before they will asign you a VIN, you need to have everything ready. Trade-in (if doing so) and financing or payment method. If it is not complete, they will not assign a VIN.

Instead of fighting it, just go through the steps. If you aren't going to trade in and you'll pay cash, just say so.

I'm certainly hoping that mine will have basic Autopilot as well. But I'm not being a 3-year-old about it.
There's a lot of things that I can do in the truck without FSD. I'm definitely not expecting FSD to work off-road.

It's funny, I'm answering two thread tight now, this one complaining about no FSD and another one complaining about no CCS (It was only yesterday that someone indicated that the existing adapter may not fit) and that it will keep the truck from going into the remote areas of Alaska.

You can make everyone happy. And both issues will be fixed.

The truck will still work without both of them. It will still be something that crowds will gawk at. You will probably have problems changing lanes as people pull up alongside to see it.
And it will invoke all the way from "ugly mother" to the "most awesome thing I've ever seen."

I'm sure that a number of other little things will pop up that some people can't live without, some people don't know it ever existed.

If you want everything, then wait a few years.

I would bet the entire 2024 run of CT will be Foundation Series. Maybe into 2025 as well. That would definitely help early buyers with a one year minimum hold period.
Lol, no way. If we get past June and Tesla is still only selling foundation units, I'll eat 10 pairs of shoes.

There is already a low take rate on foundation emails. This take rate will only decrease with every day that passes as people will be inclined to wait for the tax rebate.

No one official ever said they are only making 1000 foundation units. No one. They'll make a many as they can sell I'm sure.
Makes sense since the Signature Series Model S was limited to 1000 and so was the Founders Series Roadster 2. The Foundation series Cybertruck has all the options I would have ordered anyways and I'm sure Tesla will make it a crazy deal compared to a la cart options in the future. Just the FSD is at $16k and the Home Power Sharing at around $5k....no brainer

Incorrect. I was selected with no data in my profile.
It's not incorrect. Because that was the data at that point.

Also, your credit will have some data attached to it; that's probably what they used.

I fixed my data, and have a single-motor reservation, and have since been tapped. Of course, I can't afford the truck at the current prices.

He didn't say it's a low priority. He said it's a necessarily low priority. That's because FSD knows how to drive from billions of miles of driving data. However, they can't specifically put it in a Cybertruck because they don't have cyber truck data with its size and camera placement. Once there are miles on the road in the hundreds of thousands or millions then they can work on Cybertruck.

time to park in the back alley... or in front of some widow's nice house :)... promise your wife she'll never get to see the CT until she accepts it as part of the fam.... it comes with you.. it's part of you (unseen as it may be) so that's that :)

Low take rate? Provide evidence for that claim.
