After 90 days with the Cybertruck, it’s still as amazing as the first. Curious if anyone else has noticed, after about 5 minutes of driving, the suspension dips when stopped, usually at a red light. First time it felt like we were rear ended by a smart car. Minor but definitely noticeable. Not readily repeatable so have not included in a service center appointment yet.

I had this issue too! I didn't have it at first. Then maybe after 60 days of ownership, I noticed it at least once a day. Then after the latest software updates, I haven't noticed it again. Everytime it happened, I thought the car behind me in traffic tapped the rear bumper. I never saw anyone else complain of this so I just let it go. Nice to know I wasn't the only one.

FWIW, I'm on software build v12 (2024.14.7) so you can check if that's the build you're on. Maybe it was a software fix?

My best guess is that the suspension height needs to be adjusted. Maybe it's purposefully left too high so that it can "settle", or maybe heat expands the gasses and a little must be vented to get back to the correct height... ?‍♂

I get this periodically as well.

My software is on version v12 ⁦(2024.14.7 e7565e5e7748)⁩ and it just happened this morning. Usually only once in the morning and it disappears. Maybe if more people have this issue, it can be better articulated to the SC.

I’ve noticed this once or twice. No biggie… and it makes me very happy to know that Tesla can tweak and update things like this over-the-air!! I chalk it up to the air system being new and highly configurable.
???

Yep. I made an appointment a few weeks out since I hadn’t seen any other reports.
Suspension is quick to raise and lower and generally seems fine otherwise.

This happened to me for the first time yesterday while stopped at a red light. Hope it doesn’t get worse over time.

It does not get worse, just interesting. I will bring it up at the next SC appt and see what they can find out ??

My guess was the suspension was testing if there was a trailer or load.

Happens at red lights about 5-8 minutes after the day’s first drive. Was exactly what I thought too: “rear ended by a Smart?”

Same experience since first week. First 5 minutes of driving and stopped at red light, the rear only suspension lowers a 'tad'. Almost like a self leveling event?

Exact same issue here. I believe this is the "Self Leveling" feature. At first I thought this was "Raise / Lower Suspension at this Location". Though I deleted all of my saved points, still happens.

I thought it was a part of the suspension memory by location as well until the update provided an erase all locations function ?? Does anyone park on a sloped driveway by chance overnight? Self leveling may be an explanation like Major Victory posted.
