Do you have any ideas as to what caused it to bow up? Prolonged sun exposure? Cargo/bikes bent it?
No, been that way from the get pretty much. It’s parking the garage so not sun exposure, and only one carbon bike on it on and off on the left side, never the middle. I also take it off and store in the garage when not in use. It just did that for no apparent reason. I also get a “tailgate not fully closed” error very often with it on even though absolutely nothing is in the way of the latches. I’m wondering if anyone else experiences this with this product. If you’re interested in actually buying one I’d give it a 7/10, it dos the job well bit has these finicky things to it that are annoying. You can get something just as functional for so much less.
I want to have the same experience. The first one I got had the stitching coming apart, Tesla replaced it. The second one unfortunately does this. I’m not sure, maybe I just have a bad unit.
Can you send a picture of the fading? I’m considering it.
