This is the goofiest post I've seen on this site so far, all 11 pages. If you dont like the truck and are still mad about the price, why are you still in a cybertruck owners forum? If you are one of those people who won't another Tesla because of Elon; everything you own has much worse things than a shit posting CEO in its supply chain. If you started an order and paid the $1000 non-refundable deposit and then backed out for whatever reason, I hope things work out for you, sincerely. Check back in when your $1000 disappears or you get the truck.

My thoughts if one is stupid enough to get all excited and press the button, and then someone or they changed mind.

Tesla should keep the 1k and ban the holder for questionable purchasing tactics. We don't want people that can't read or understand driving our vehicles.

Y'all got excited got wet in the pants and pressed the button. Tough doo doo.

"questionable purchasing tactics" ... You guys are funny. He loses the $1K, as per contract, but where in the contract does it say that $1K is not enough penalty. It's not like Tesla couldn't have chosen any number they wanted for the non-refundable deposit.

Amazon bans people that keep canceling orders. This is normal business practice.

Amazon bans you from limited editions if they're stolen from Amazon.

I wouldn't look to Amazon for good business practices.

Nothing is nice in business. Some paint it green or other colors. That doesn't make it nicer.

"BS analysis"? It is inevitable that these FS Cybertrucks will indeed sell for 50% or less than the purchase price in a few years. In March, I bought a 2018 Model X 100D from Tesla (1 yr or 10K miles warranty) for $41K. It had 49K miles on the ODO, all possible options plus FSD. That vehicle originally cost over $150K and it looks, feels and drives almost like a new Model X.

IMHO, the Cyberbeast has less real world utility than a 6 seat Model X and I'm actually happy that Tesla decided to strap a $50K price gouge on the FS Cybertruck. Now, when I see one drive by I think thank god I'm not strapped with that over priced monstrosity as my daily driver. Of course I think the person who originally bought my X was foolish too but as they say, a fool and his money are soon parted ...
I was going to keep my 2016 model x 90d with free supercharging for life. Then I drove my beast and sold the dinosaur.
the beast is a beautiful practical car

After reading all this silliness. Comes down to one thing…

“An “adrenaline junkie” is a person who enjoys taking part in activities that trigger the release of epinephrine, which is commonly known as an adrenaline rush. They will often enjoy partaking in thrilling, exciting, or intense activities.”

Written by Adam Rowden on February 17, 2021

Then after clicking order they are like “@$&* what did I just do?”

Sorry $1000 is non refundable!

It would be one thing if you just wanted to cancel your order altogether. What you are asking for is to switch your deposit to another Tesla vehicle/same with different specs. Tesla is not legally obligated to do so but why be jerks about it?

I'm glad you feel that way and with the Cybertruck, beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. Being in Ca, I see them frequently and must admit, the look is not growing on me. There has been one parked across the street from where we are staying on Cannery Row and the owner refuses to use valet parking so is feeding the parking meter every two hours because he is concerned it will not fit in the tight garage parking spaces That doesn't sound very "practical" to me. ...

BLAH BLAH - lets run customers off like crazy or ban them. Great business practice. May be time to dump the tsla shares. You know how hard it is to get new car customers? IF they keep this up wont be able to give them away. WE have been through 5 teslas. love them all but the company has been treating people terribly since after 3 came out and getting worse. compare them to any other premium car company. What a Joke. we cringe everytime we hear needs service for anything.

LOL. Tesla has more repeat buyers than any of the "premium" car companies, or any other car company.

Sorry folks if you pressed the button that is what you get. You can't change your mind when the roulette wheel starts spinning to a certain point. No more bets. Also means you can't take the bet off the table.

Put on the big pants and eat it for being stupid. It is not Tesla's fault.

I always read stories from someone that owns 5 Tesla's and say how they want toes polished from service. It wasn't like the service when they were losing money hand over fist building a brand. Now they are profitable they don't care about me anymore. Blah blah blah. It is a car for gosh sakes not a Country club where they refer to you with some dignified name. People that work there would likely pee in your lemonade if you are pretentious like some sound.
