But even the table you just provided only has California about 10%-15% higher than other states. So what is the hourly rate where you live? Don't give me someone else's yearly salary numbers as I have looked them up before (just like the advertisements that tell me how much I can expect to pay for a new driveway or bathroom are WAY off). The yearly numbers probably assume that they are not making their hourly on a 2000-hour year. I apologize for this response being topic-tangential.

I was going to say, my electrician billed us $100/ hour and he busted ass on the job. By the time you back out taxes, rent, expenses, etc he might be netting $100k if he’s super good with money.

These comments started with what can blue collar workers can afford to pay for a Cybertruck. Your numbers for your place of residence are pretty far off from the national averages. Just like the price of homes, gas, or anything. But I was trying to show nationally what the numbers are, and what blue collar workers nationally can afford, is reflected in those numbers.

I wanted to catch up on the thread before asking this question. I looked all over the place yesterday and couldn't find out whether the Semi Delivery Event will be streamed. Does anyone here know? I am sure that someone will video with their phone and later post but I'd like to see the streaming event if Tesla or someone else has it.

I don't know about you but when I have a plumber or electrician do work on my house they are charging me $250/hr. Even if the 'company' is pulling 100% overhead (doubtful) these guys are clearing $200K/yr. They are doing 'really' well.

They have hours between jobs where they aren't billing.

Don’t get your hopes up. Tesla is most likely to deliver exaxtly what they promised at this event, a semi unveiling. Nothing more, nothing less. Seems like every time there is an event, someone gets all worked up about Cybertruck announcement and is frustrated and disappointed when it fails to appear.
