reason being (to your question), there is a sudden problem with the data source. Specifically, it turned off.

either there’s a glitch at Tesla, or Tesla is intentionally reconnoitering in order to make it more difficult to access.

Unfortunately they most likely saw your scanning and decided to disable you scans. Data scraping unfortunately is frowned upon. Maybe reduce the frequency?

it is also down, also only for CTs

suspect the NHSTSA site is just a portal through which each OEMs own data stream is sent

we took the site down (hopefully temporarily), because the data stream is down (hopefully temporarily)

at the moment, a person who has a Cybertruck in their driveway cannot enter even their own VIN and get a response
