True but it has happened as early as October, with FS being a 'special edition' it would have made sense to round it off as the first year of production trucks.

I just got matched to a 31XXX VIN - I'm guessing this is a bit old now considering the most recent ones. Any way to get a sense of how far back? Maybe Q3 2024?

They were producing 40XXX vins in October 2024. So that was probably built in August or September.

I only have access to ordering FS. Bit nervous about it being an older build, but currently have a good private offer to sell my X. Was going to wait but the numbers work well. Not sure I like the thought of a FS that's been sitting for 4-5 months. Hmmm

I got an early non foundation build VIN # 4000XX in October. It’s been perfect. I don’t think there is much difference between the quality of mine and one that was 9k VINS earlier.
