The sensors on the front are not cameras, It is a system for terrain and road surface mapping, using a solid-state LiDAR sensor with a Time of flight (ToF) return receiver hence the 2 X modules. It is accurate to 1 to 2mm. It is manufactured by a company in Brussels called XenomatiX. It is used for many applications and one application that I think it is used here is the road or 4WD track surface mapping. They use it to determine the forward-looking surface terrain and make anticipated adjustments to the suspension (active suspension). This will be a game changer for all you off-roaders. Imagine if the CT could also determine the best angle of attack for extreme terrain and many other benefits. It could result in a smooth ride on bumpy surfaces You can also see that they are using a wheel odometry sensor to measure wheel speed and distance. This is coupled with the GPS antenna set in the middle of the roof just above the windscreen. The XenomatiX system is expensive, north of 100k, so I am sure that they will not be using this system in the production model, but instead, they would be using it for prototyping their own similar system, most likely computer binocular camera vision to allow depth perception and pixelization to create a Sudo point cloud

It's not identical due to foliage changing, Google Maps took these back in Febuary, but...

1. Eucalyptus Treeline (An Australian always knows)
2. Sewer Grate (Boosted the shadows a bit)
3. Weird Structure on corner of building (This is what seals the deal I think)
4. Succulent (Chinese Meal)
5. Tree Curvature (Good to see it's doing so well!)

Sounds legit, likely, and awesome.

I don’t think any other Company out there has the skills to do this kind of 3d mapping for off roading without dropping the money for the LIDAR rig on each truck.

Now hold on. In some quarters, fingering butts is a real net positive. Not sure if M&M or other cookies/candies are often involved though.

But for 5.25 I’m sure there will be many takers. Probably quite a flurry of business I’d say. Body temp probably necessitates these being soft serve.

Dang, another tool to buy.

Thought my saw saw will work.
Two ways to look at it.

Glass half empty: You gotta buy another tool.
Glass half empty: You get to buy another tool.

Boring alternative: Likely an Alan wrench or screwdriver will likely do the job too.

If this is the final version, I'm disappointed that the stainless steel body is not riveted with the heads poking outside like the old Land Rover Defenders in the African savannah.

To those who worked on 3mm stainless steel, can I mode it to put these rivets.

A restored old Defender is priced upwards to $300,000.
You will probably be able to get a custom wrap that gives you the impression of rivets. They could probably even Spell your name in rivets.

I'm reserving the wrap for camo and some simulated bullet holes -- and yes, my name spelled correctly.
