I got the Grok update but it keeps saying “no connection” and then “an error occurred”.

I have grok and pay for it, I was able to login and authenticate in the Tesla app.
I haven’t come across anyone else with these same messages.

maybe it’s because my Cybertruck is currently in Canada? I wonder if geographical location matters. I’ll be back state side this weekend, I’ll try again’

Having issues linking my grok account for sign in, i get the prompt in the app, click it, opens a browser tab, I press okay or accept, it takes me to my X main panel. The truck still says Sign in.

I used the CT Grok and she said i should have an AI tab in my iphones tesla app, after selecting the 3 dash marks top right. I dont see that... anyone else? Also logged out and linked to google account and signed in, same deal.

Just some grok fun, I asked her to tell me a story on how a cyberpunk revolution starts in alaska. She continued with a story based in 2037 anchorage, where mega corps have moved data and AI model server centers into alaska deep below ground to run at full load kept cool by the permafrost. Ingenious!

Was in for service yesterday, but that didn’t result in downloading it. But then it downloaded yesterday evening ant home. Just installed it. Will check it out tomorrow. Besides Grok, with which I am not familiar at all, anything else to immediately start looking at? Didn’t see anything in the release notes that struck me as improving the driving experience.

So I got the update on our model x but CT is still in the shop.
My impression? Meh. Not the game changer I hoped it would be. Especially since when you ask it to do anything car or media related it basically tells you to use the old voice commands. So basically just another distraction app.
Pointless while driving unless you’re so disinterested in paying attention to the road you’d rather learn the number of syllables in your favorite song or how many jelly beans fit in a 747 or whatever.
For me, more smoke and mirrors but no meaningful upgrade.

Pro Tip:
Switch to Ava's voice and ask her to help you design an S&M dungeon in your basement. You'll know what to do from there. Let the fun times begin!
