The real 2025.26 Update (w/ Grok) Thread

Got the e-mail promotion about adding AI in 2025.26, but my most recent update was 2025.20.6 NOT 26, so looks like a lot of interim versions 21, 22, 23, ... before we see 26.

Don't think they are sequential. 20 and 26 are week of the year.

nice, looks like we were right and 2025.26 was the interrim version. Must have found some bugs with the early release, 2025.26.3 has seen more downloads than 2025.26 already (that tiny black bump on graph). My truck still doesn't see an update, but maybe ill get this one rolled out...

PS: My M3 updated to 2025.20.8 a few days ago, its a 2019 with an old chip and doesn't get a grok The CT is stuck on 20.6, waiting for this 26.3 i hope!

Kinda crazy how the loaners get the Grok update before owners.

I remember one trick back in 2021/22 was to get the vehicle onto the service center WiFi and it would push the latest update. I did it once on my Y back then. All I had to do was drive into the lot and let the car connect to WiFi. Wonder if that still works…

It actually makes perfect sense. If the loaners' home-base is the service center, they can address any issues immediately after updates.

Just wish there were a way to force an update!

Beast, no update. A non-influencer friend's model 3 got it last night, though, so I hopeful it's going wide now.

Actually, I want FSD to update. It is worse than ever. I have the offset set at 10%, in a 30 mph zone It does 25 or 27 in a 55 it does 47. It turns into the opposite lane of traffic more than ever it's ridiculous. When it knows it has to make a right turn a quarter mile ahead It goes into the left lane. WTF.
