Please make sure you know how to use your security cameras and safety features on your Tesla or Cyber Truck, BEFORE YOU NEED IT!!!

Controls->Recording (camera icon button)

Immediately after incident, put vehicle in park, hit controls, to the right of the control tab highlighted in gray and to the right of sentry-hit the recording button. You will see the down arrow and downloading appear briefly. Then it will save the 10 minutes prior to the moment you hit that button. Safely remove usb thumb drive. Plug into your pc. Boom! You have access to the last 10 min. Good luck. Be safe!

My incident today.
A young kid pulled up next to me while I was driving and was telling me to roll my window down. I thought he was trying to help me out or warn me of a danger by telling me that my Starlink Wi-Fi had broken off the mount or I had flat tire. Instead, he was rage screaming at me. Called me a “fucking faggot with an Elon Musk butt plug.” He kept screaming, raging, and taunting me.

I had an Adrenalin dump. Hands were shaking. A bit emotional. Got his plate. Called police and gave them his description, vehicle description, and license plate.

I wish I had thought to record it on my phone, and not just take photos of his truck next to me to get plate.

You can customize the app tray, place the record button (camera icon) there and all you have to do it tap that button vs digging through the menu. Much faster if you’re bleeding out etc.

I am sorry you had to go through that, unfortunately some people profess to be tolerant except for people they disagree with for some insane reason..

You can also hit the voice button on the steering wheel and say “save dash cam” or hit the horn and it will do the same - assuming you have that set under control to save dash cam when horn is used. But last 30 seconds only.

In my limited experience, you can make these sorts of people turn various shades of purple if you just smile politely and give them a big thumbs up while they're raging at you...
