Nope, its like what I did with my jeeps for years. Would like to do it with my CT also. Rims are a little pricey yet for stock. Waiting a bit before I do that till people stop thinking they are made of gold. Tires are now over double of what the Jeeps were and I had 35" tires on my jeeps.
I think you are on a good track, glad to know another offroader in this realm.

2x Wranglers, lots of off roading, have a 2004 Unlimited left, i tinker all of the time
want to get them both off road together, old school, new school
old school will never die
