Now that's just stupid and dangerous!
Needed to simulate added weight.

You have never run full fresh water and grey/black tanks?

How is it stupid and dangerous?

Aren't most trailers designed for the weight of one or the other, not both?

-Crissa
Yes, but I wanted as close to 850# max cargo weight without out loading all my sh$!.

That's... Fair. I hope there isn't a structural lading problem, but there probably isn't.

-Crissa
Nope, besides it's a great way to clean out the grey/black tank as the BC does not have a black tank flush. Fill tank, drive around to mix up the tank, empty tank.

Fill tank, drive around to mix up the tank, pray nothing leaks and sloshes everywhere, empty tank.
Fixed :)

For most people you start with fresh water full and black/grey empty. Then water magically transfers.
If the grey/black is full, and the fresh is as well, simply put, it may become a crappy experience.

This assumes black/grey are together. I have both a grey and a black. So, filling fresh and grey (or black instead) is fine.

No, you are really missing my point. If the tanks are all full, then the water runs. If the water runs, that means that the bathroom is working.
Flush the toilet and black water starts to overflow.

Black water overflow is a crappy experience.

And if the gray tank is full, not quite as bad of an experience, but the shower basin starts to overflow.

Sorry. I get the point of full tanks. Someone earlier was shocked that he’d have two full tanks. I don’t think that’s necessarily a problem if it’s fresh and black, or fresh and grey, or for that matter black and grey.

Off topic now. Anyway….

Dead weight and will affect range.

Some black water on the tank on the way home will help clean it up of remaining residue and rinsing upon arrival.

Don't need an excuse - if you are seriously towing, you most likely are not considering an EV today.
As someone who has towed a lot of work trailers, landscaping, construction, utilities, etc., starting back in the 1970's, I'm baffled why some people think towing is primarily a long-distance affair. In all my towing, and often with some pretty heavy loads, I've only towed over 100 miles on one trip. Long-distance towing of things makes very little business sense in the vast majority of towing applications, due to labor and fuel expenses.

It's very uncommon for work trucks, especially in the 1/2 ton class, to tow long distances. An electric truck like the Cybertruck is a real game-changer when it comes to towing work related things locally.

I bring this up because people don't qualify their "towing" with "long-distance towing". They are two very different things.

This is exactly why I'm so confused why 11k going 100'ish miles in the freezing as such a problem. I'm willing to bet loads of money the same people screaming "that's bad" don't even know how to hook up a tow hitch. Just critics behind a keyboard. I'm buying this truck, plain and simple because it's a new product by Tesla that I want. Don't need validation from anyone about its "specs" to be ok with my purchase.

I have no idea why people even thing about publishing charging to 100% numbers.
Huh? Why not? The most likely reason someone might charge to 100% is because they're towing something big. EV manufacturers EXPECT people to charge to 100% when they need to, or they wouldn't make it available!

I think the numbers matter, regardless of the specific use case.

These are the reasons why analysts are anticipating leas than brisk offtake of CTs after the frenzy of early adopters.

They said there are big disappointment on the value proposition of lower range and a substantially higher price.
The analysts have been wrong on Tesla since before Tesla went public. In 2014 Tesla said they planned to hit 1/2 million pure electric cars in 2020. The analysts laughed. Legacy auto laughed. Said it was impossible, not enough demand, too expensive, bad value proposition, many of the things they are saying now about the Cybertruck. No one was laughing 6 years later when Tesla put out 1/2 million cars, all pure electric.

Go out on the street, places where the recently delivered Cybertrucks are visiting and see the positive reactions. People LOVE this truck. Most pre-orders were for the Dual Motor and below. Tesla exceeded the anticipated EPA range of 300+ miles by 40 miles. The average motorist does about 30 miles per day.

The Cybertruck will kill it once production ramps up to high volumes and buyers don't have to pay the Foundation Edition tax.
