Well, this is all concerning.

Yes, but I also am not surprised that the Year 1 of the "complex thing that has never existed before" has interesting shakedown issues.

My employment is diagnosing and documenting NPI (new product introduction) issues and it makes for some sleepless nights. But it must be done for the future releases. I'm probably a more sympathetic CB owner than I should be.

I'm hoping this issue is a firmware/FPGA issue in the end because that may be able to be pushed in a OTA update. Hardware caused is much more inconvenient.

The truck is still drivable with the errors, but it's just like driving a RAM 1500 tradtruck abilities.

So, my concern is getting more concerning. I have been driving the truck on short hops, 1-10 miles in the last few days and now the multitude of errors are almost constant. The more concerning issue is a burning smell that I noticed in the front driver's side wheel well after parking. I think it smells like burning plastic/hot wires.

I will try to see if the service center will take it on Monday as a walk-in even though I already have an appointment in 3 weeks. The burning/hot smell really got my attention.

Picked up my non foundation series dual motor last Friday. I received these same errors. The regen goes away and the truck goes analog which is disconcerting because of break performance without the regen. Did a reboot. Powered truck down. Reboot. Still errors. Made it home. Left truck overnight. Errors cleared. Great. Truck was fine for a couple days. Yesterday I went back to the exact same parking lot. Grabbed some lunch. Came out. Errors all over.
So here is the observation: that parking spot has a slight right to left angle (about -5. Degrees). Drive home. Parked in driveway (slight incline). Powered down. Came out 30 minutes later. Powered on, stepped on break, errors cleared.

I have turned off the “auto kneel” feature. My guess is there is some issue w sensors that need fixing.
Have a service appointment to check it out.

in the meantime, if you get this error, park on a non tilt, power down, give it 20 minutes or so then fire it back up, foot on break, errors clear. Hope this helps anyone having this issue.

Small update: I was able to get local Tesla SC to agree to take truck in early (Otherwise it was Jan 8 2025). It looks like now I will be without my CB for almost 3 weeks. Due to parts constraints and probably holiday shutdowns.

So far, the identified culprit is HCU (hydraulic control unit).

OMG, I have a nice personal backup car to use, but damn, I cannot wait to get back to my CB. Driving ICE feels like such a chore, and seeing the V13 FSD and possibly Holiday update coming in is killing me. A guy rolled up at a Christmas party with a decorated CB a couple nights back and I ran to it like an excited 6 year old.

Give me strength.

Hey folks. I received these errors today and Im told its the ABS Module from the Facebook community. Does anyone have experience with these?

As an update, Service said that the remote diagnostics suggests the ABS module for my errors. We were scheduled for the 12/30 and they have now pushed it back to January 17 becauae the ABS module is on backorder.

Backorder? They are making these trucks daily... wouldnt they have an inventory of this in Austin??

The same story for me. I keep getting a weekly slip on ETIC (estimated time in commission). Tesla has NO ETA FOR DELIVERY of the ABS module, so another slip in schedule is coming.

One would think they should have some spares in the production system.

UPDATE: Part came in 18 Dec & completed on 20th. Will pick up tomorrow.

Dropped my awd Thursday 12/19 for a estimated date of ouckuo tomorrow 12/24. Received a model Y loaner. It has been doing that sporadically since I got it in September.

The way I fix it is: I reset it get out ,of the truck arm it then come back to it and then it’s usually fine but then I did it like three times last week so I said enough. They said they’re waiting for a part to come in from another Tesla service center sohooefully it will be ready tomorrow

That sucks...maybe the service techs working on your truck were on holiday mode? :cautious:

My issue occurred today. Service appointment is far away and it's new years eve....everything closed.

Quick update. Tesla Paramus NJhad my truck for 5 days to fix an issue and check on a wiper issue. They gave it back to me on 12/24 and didn't fix the issue. Said they didn't see my notes or pics about the issue and apologized. They said let them research it and they'll get me in ASAP. I relaxed and let the Christmas spirit calm me down lol.

In the next few days, The issue happens during a big rainstorm and I documented each time. I messaged them and they told me to drop it off on Jan 3. They estimate a week having the truck.

This is crazy. Each month since I took delivery, my truck has been in the shop for a week. Well, see what they say this time
