I have thought a lot about trading the truck in for a f150 or a Tacoma. It’s not worth the amount of hate and middle fingers I get.
I'd be giving myself the middle finger if I bought an F-150 or Tacoma :) .

FYI: The people giving you the middle finger are the most miserable, media-controlled people in America. They don't really hate you—they just lack the intelligence to understand anything...why let them bother you?

I traded my Tacoma for the CT and I wouldn't go back if you gave me a free Tacoma.

The haters kinda make me laugh at this point. Getting emotionally spun up over what another person drives tells me all I need to know about a person.

I mean I certainly hope you're right, I have a foundation Beast myself. If there were only 4000 CT total in existence, ever - absolutely they would go up. I just don't know if people would care enough in 10 years to pay such a premium for it on a vehicle that is mass produced, other than the foundation being a limited set of that. Time will tell I guess and like I said I certainly hope you're right.
from the recall of the light bar, it affects 6,197, 2024 Foundation Series Cyberbeasts, just simple math tells me that there are approx 4,000 - 4,500 left on the road, and that number is decreasing every day. I am seeing the 2024 FS Cyberbeast Values settling in around 104-110k , 2025 cyberbeasts used are under 99k and the AWD FS and Non FS are below 70k, and still bleeding
I believe we are in a good long term investment position even with current sales diminishing.

Carmax is not a good form of establishing what your car is truly worth

Founders series/foundation series historicity don’t make the car worth more. If anything it’s the models that need a few kinks worked out.
approx 4000-4500 on the road today and that number is shrinking, we shall see.
my crystal ball and today's numbers and Grok say the 2024 FS Cyberbeast should
be well over 150-200k in a few years, ill buy and hold just like tesla stock
I also have a FS Roadster on order; we will see it that makes it to production with April 2026's announcement

Please think outside of grok in life. I hope you’re right but I’m not in the same boat.

I bought mine with the mindset of the resale value following used Model S plaids. I see no value in “FS” but I’m a throw away the box kinda guy. As far as actual value for this hardened mobile power station that “shits and gets” I wish I had 2.

Do you have free supercharging? That is my dream, free fuel!

Historically, no, it doesn’t.

But what we witnessed over the past two years has been a once in a lifetime situation.

It was the perfect storm. A ridiculously outside of the box vehicle released alongside an incredibly tense political environment. Everyone in the world has a platform to voice an opinion and traditional media, while always biased, seems even more so now.

It’s forever embedded into pop culture and now a piece of history. We may not have a “Cybertruck moment” again for generations. In fact, I am certain we will not because I’m assuming manufacturers will be afraid and be even more risk averse after seeing the unwarranted hate this truck received.

Does that mean in 20 years when they say 500 of these left and maybe one for sale in the country at any given point in time, is it worth more? No way to know.

I would never buy a depreciating asset like a car and assume the price is going to go up. You have to assume the value is going to go down. But if I were to bet, whoever hangs onto one of these and keeps it in great shape, low miles and working order in 20-30 years, that’s going to be worth something to someone.

Or random Rivian driver showing me "L" for Loser as he drives past me, totally oblivious to the fact he drives a glitch infested vehicle...
LOL! Seriously? My nephew has a rivian and loves my CT.

Here’s another data point. 2025 awd, 18k miles , and has gone through 3 tailgates due to the tailgate delaminating. 64.9k

Received email from Tesla today:

Cybertruck is built for adventure and comfort with a durable exterior and spacious interior. Starting December 26, 2025, leasing pricing will increase from $729 per month to $849 per month with $5,000 down for 36 months.*

Order yours and submit your leasing application by December 26, 2025, to get the lower leasing price.
