I’m planning on trading my AWD foundation for a new beast (non-fs). Based on current pricing and incentives the numbers make sense.

This is my first Tesla trade.. what accessories are they expecting me to include as part of the trade? I’m assuming they might want all accessories that came with original purchase..?

I plan on keeping everything I purchased after.. additional frunk/trunk mats, etc.

The main items I’d prefer to keep are the all weather mats and mobile charger.. I don’t think the new beast will come with either of these.

If it’s like other Teslas, floor mats & the mobile charger are considered expendable items. I would keep all the extras except the Cyber wheel covers.

I don’t think Tesla expects any of the accessories back, honestly, and the employee accepting your trade-in is just going to take the truck and park it for the next cog in the wheel to take possession of. Accessories that you leave will likely just move on to the next owner/lessor.

By "all accessories", do you mean everything included in the FS package, such as the PowerShare equipment, or, easily-transportable items that go with the truck itself, such as the sun screen, or even things things perhaps not even provided yet, such as the light bar, or things that are services, such as FSD or Premium Connectivity (which could theoretically be migrated, but maybe not allowed to be?) ?

(The word "all" being a rather inclusive term.)

Accessories don't add a nickel to trade in value, so keep them all. Especially if you are grabbing another CT.

All we have been asked to provide for sales (not tradeins) was the keys and the charging cables. The truck will not be sold as an FS so there is no point in giving them those items unless they ask for them. Best to ask Tesla what they expect so that you don't lose time and energy at the last minute.

Anything not physically attached to the truck is how I would describe “all.”

Do we know this as fact?
It makes sense, because they offered Powershare items that you cannot disconnect from your home so they would have to add them (again). I cannot see them doing that.

FS now with free supercharging does not have PowerShare equipment in its place.

Also I remember confirmation that FS is tied to the VIN.

No reason at all to think it wouldn't be sold as a Foundation Series. It'll be used, used vehicles may or may not still have everything they sold with when new.

And I'd keep everything that isn't attached.

The badging is permanent so it will always be an FS Cybertruck, but I thought the question was about what has to be returned with it so that the new buyer gets what we got (ok, that was my assumption). If Tesla is selling it they can say whatever they want. If a third party is selling it then I suppose it is whatever agreement they have with the buyer. What I was saying is that some things cannot be relinquished so it cannot be sold as an FS in the form we bought it in - it would be FS in basic features and badging plus whatever.
