Today while driving my two day old Cybertruck going about 25 mph down the road the screen flashed red and said Critical Error/Failure. I wasn’t able to capture that because I was focusing on pulling over.

But I was able to snap photos of some of the alerts. First Tesla, so none of these are things I have seen before.

You can add to your existing service request.

seems like this may be a similar issue to what Sawyer had. Rear steering actuator defective

Looks to be an electrical malfunction of some sort and not a major part failure.

Reads to me like the coolant system has an issue, and the high voltage pack sensed it and is in limp mode. Climate system and batteries share the same coolant system with the octovalve (or whatever the iteration of that is in the CT). Pure speculation though.

The only saving grace of my RN 1173xxxx is that they will be dialed in better (similar to other models 2-3 yrs after launch)

Ironically, the 2018 model 3 was more stable than the 2020 or 2021 models in many ways.

Build quality (panel gap, fit & finish) on my 2018 M3 is a joke, but the battery and powertrain have been problem-free till this day and after 105K miles. We still get 300-mile (rated) on a full charge. Never had any 'critical' or major issues that stopped us from driving it. The only annoying issue was the upper control arm/ball joint noise which SC replaced both sides free of charge.

our '18 performance 3 has had zero issues including panel gaps are fine .. either you are more picky or you got one different then us.

That's what I thought about my 2018.. until I got a 2022.. love the power trunk and heat pump, but otherwise garbage compared to the 2018 in terms of aesthetic build quality. Mechanically, the 22 has been rock solid tho.
